Developed specifically for the road-transport service provider, TrafficNet provides an integrated suite of functions designed specifically to meet the requirements of the road-haulage industry.
- Daybook gives a single-screen view of all current jobs. The operator has a single screen which may be used to view the current status of all open jobs on the system.
- Build driver’s run sheets and manifests as jobs are entered onto the system.
- Print Run sheets, Manifests, PODs and labels directly for any job, with full support for barcoding.
- Jobs are priced automatically as they are entered. A full pricing system is contained with the application. As jobs are entered they may be automatically priced according to standard rates, or specific quotations for each customer.
- The application supports multiple piece types (e.g. 3 pallets, 4 cartons & 2 boxes). Each piece type may be priced individually.
- Support for gross weight, net weight, chargeable weight and cubed volume.
- Where document imaging is installed, images of PODs may be viewed/emailed/printed directly from within the job screen.
- Full track-and-trace capability - As a job progresses through the system, each milestone is automatically recorded. These events may be viewed at any time, and also available via the web-tracking.
- Discrepancy reporting - A Discrepancy is any problem/issue which affects a job (e.g. missing/incorrect pieces, paperwork etc). The system provide the ability to record such issues and a mechanism to manage/report/track discrepancies until such time as they are resolved.
- Fully integrated Document Imaging option with barcode recognition – do away with missing paperwork. Supports own-dockets and third-party paperwork. Print/Email/Fax PODs directly from within a job.
- Electronic POD – do away with paper dockets using handheld scanner. Drivers carry a small handheld scanner which the customers signs directly - there is no need to carry printed PODs. Once the driver returns to the depot, the signatures are downloaded directly to the system
- Subcontractor handling - The system provides the ability for subcontractors to update POD details directly for jobs handled on your behalf.
